You can find the Serviceman Detective Agency on the first floor of building 106/1 in G K D Nagar. We are right on Avalapalli Main Road, which stays busy from dawn until late at night. Our office isn't what people expect when they think of detectives. There are no dark rooms or mysterious shadows. It’s actually quite bright, and we spend a lot of time just looking at records and making phone calls. The sound of the traffic on the main road is always there in the background, but you get used to it after a few days. We handle various types of investigations, mostly things that local people or small businesses need help with. It’s a lot of waiting and watching, which requires a good deal of patience. We don’t have a big staff, just a few of us who know how to get things done without drawing too much attention. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit steep, but it keeps us in shape. We’ve been in this part of G K D Nagar for a long time, so we know the local characters and the way the streets are laid out. We don’t promise miracles or act like we are in a movie. It’s just practical work that involves a lot of listening and even more walking. We keep our notes in simple binders and keep our heads down so we can focus on the job.
