The workshop is located at No.28-A in Peenya, specifically the 2nd Phase of the Industrial Area. If you know Bangalore, you know how busy Peenya gets. It’s all about the sound of machines and trucks moving around all day long. Here at Seenu Precision Tooling Systems, we’ve got our own little rhythm going. It’s Unit I, so it’s where a lot of the heavy lifting happens. The floor is usually covered in a bit of oil or metal shavings by the afternoon, no matter how much we try to sweep it. We deal with tools and parts that need to be exactly right, so there’s a lot of squinting at measurements and checking things twice. It’s not the kind of place you’d wear a suit to. We usually have our blue shirts on, and there’s always a tea break at eleven. We’ve been in this spot for some time, and we know the guys in the units next door pretty well. Sometimes we borrow a tool, sometimes they borrow one from us. It’s a tough environment because of the heat and the noise, but it feels right to be making things. We don’t have a big marketing department or anything. It’s just us, the machines, and the orders we need to finish. It’s honest work, and we like being right in the middle of the industrial hub where everything is actually being built.
