If you head down to the Yeshwanthpur Industrial Suburbs, you'll find us at No. 80B. Schunk Intec India Pvt Ltd. has been operating out of this area for quite some time now. It’s an industrial zone, so it’s dusty and there are trucks everywhere, but it feels like home to us. Our building isn't anything special to look at from the outside, but inside we have everything set up for the work we do. We handle a lot of mechanical components and gripping tech. It’s the kind of place where you’ll see crates being moved around and people in work shirts discussing measurements. We don't spend money on shiny signs or polished lobby floors. We’d rather make sure the equipment is maintained. Some of the guys have been here for years and they know the layout of the shop floor by heart. It gets hot in the afternoons, especially when all the machines are running, but we just keep at it. We keep our coffee machine in the corner, and that’s basically our break room. It’s a grounded environment. People stop by when they need something specific for their factory or shop, and we just give them a straight answer. We like being part of the industrial community here in Yeshwanthpur. It’s honest work and we take it one day at a time without any complicated corporate layers. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years, but our shop stays pretty much the same. There's a certain rhythm to the work here that we've all gotten used to. We don't really follow a strict corporate schedule; we just work until the job is finished.
