School Of India is located out on Anekal Road, near Bannerghatta. It’s a bit of a trek if you are coming from the center of the city, but the air is a little clearer out here. We have quite a bit of space because of the location. Being on Anekal Road means we see a lot of the local traffic moving between the industrial areas and the city. Most of the people who work here are used to the drive. The school itself is spread out and we try to keep the grounds in decent shape. It’s not always easy with the dust from the road, but we manage. We aren’t one of those schools with a million different signs and posters everywhere. It’s more of a quiet, functional place. The Bannerghatta area has grown so fast lately, but our corner feels a bit more settled. We get kids from all around the nearby villages and the new housing layouts. It’s a real mix of people. On rainy days, the road can get a bit messy, but that is just part of being in this part of the state. We just focus on the daily routine and making sure the kids have what they need. There isn't much fuss or bother about how we do things. We just show up and get to work every day. Usually, the bell rings at eight and we don't stop until the afternoon sun starts to dip low.
