Sayuri Foundation

Sayuri Foundation is located right on the ground floor at 383/18 on 24th Main. If you are looking for us in Bangalore South, the best way to find the place is to look for the Kempamma Devi Temple. We are directly opposite it. Being across from a temple means the street is usually quite busy, especially on Fridays or during festival times when there are lots of people and flower sellers around. The 560076 area is a mix of old houses and newer shops, so there is always something going on outside our door. Our office isn't anything elaborate. It’s just a ground-floor space where we manage the day-to-day things for the foundation. You can hear the temple bells from inside sometimes, which is a nice background noise while we are working on our computers or talking to people. We don’t have a marketing team or a bunch of shiny brochures. It’s mostly just us sitting here, handling whatever comes up. The 24th Main road is a bit of a hub, so there’s plenty of tea stalls and small eateries nearby where we grab lunch. It feels like a very local, neighborhood operation because that’s exactly what it is. We’ve been at this spot for a while and the locals know us by sight now. It’s a practical, no-nonsense place to be based, even if the parking on the main road can be a total headache. We just keep at it day after day.
