Savyeshmrr Civic Foundation is tucked away in Sector B of the Ideal Homes layout. If you know Rr Nagar, you know it's a bit quieter than the rest of Bangalore, which is nice for the kind of work we do. We are over at house number 9. It’s basically just a small office where we handle things related to the community. Living and working in Bangalore means there are always civic issues to look at, whether it’s the roads or just how things are run in the neighborhood. We aren't a big corporation. It's more like a group of neighbors who wanted to get more involved in how things work around here. Sometimes we sit around the table and just talk about what’s happening on our street or the next one over. The fans are usually humming in the background while we sort through papers or take calls from local folks. It’s not always exciting stuff, but it feels important to have a presence in the local area. We’ve got a few chairs for visitors and a lot of files that need organizing. Working in the Ideal Homes area is good because we are close to the people we are actually talking about. We try to keep things simple and just deal with whatever comes up each day. It’s a bit of a climb to get everything sorted, but we are here most mornings and anyone can stop by.
