Savitha Stores

Savitha Stores is located at Jayanagar Bordillon Road, specifically at Mosque Road 19. It’s a small neighborhood shop that’s been here for quite some time. The building is a bit old, and the paint is peeling a little on the side facing the rain. Inside, we have rows of stuff packed into every available space. It’s a bit of a squeeze when it gets busy in the evenings. We sell things like soap, snacks, and other household bits. There is a small window that lets in some light, but we mostly rely on the overhead bulbs. The counter is made of dark wood and has a few scratches from years of use. We have a small radio that plays in the background, usually some local news or music. Most of our visitors are people from the nearby houses who just need one or two things for dinner. We don’t have any fancy displays. We just put things where they fit. Sometimes the cat from next door comes in and sleeps on a sack of rice, and we have to shoo him out. It’s a quiet life for the most part. We open up early and stay open until the last few people finish their shopping. We don't use any fancy computers, just a pen and a pad to keep track of what we need to order next. It’s a basic shop for a basic neighborhood, and it works well for everyone involved.
