Sathya Sai Hospital

Sathya Sai Hospital is situated out in Bhattarhalli, which is part of the KR Puram area. Anyone who knows Bangalore knows that KR Puram is famous for its massive traffic jams and the old hanging bridge. Our hospital is a bit further away from that main mess, but we still get plenty of the noise and the dust from all the construction happening nearby. The area is growing fast, with new apartments popping up everywhere you look. We see a lot of the people who are moving into these new places, as well as the families who have been in Bhattarhalli for decades. The hospital itself is a straightforward place. We don’t have a lot of bells and whistles. We have the wards, the consultation rooms, and a pharmacy that stays quite busy. I spend my days mostly moving between the front desk and the back offices. It can get quite hectic on Monday mornings when everyone realizes they need to see a doctor after the weekend. We try to keep a sense of humor about it, even when the computers are slow or the rain is pouring down outside. It’s a practical environment where we focus on the basic needs of our patients. We are just a local hospital trying to do our part in a very busy and rapidly changing part of the city.
