Our place is out in the Mira Industrial Estate, specifically in the MIDC area at A-8, 9, and 13. It’s an industrial zone, so it’s not exactly the prettiest part of town, but it’s where all the work happens. Sapphrie Kitchenware is mostly about the production side of things. We have a few units here where we handle the manufacturing and packing of different kitchen items. The noise from the machines is pretty constant throughout the day, which is just how life is in a factory setting. We have a lot of trucks coming in and out to pick up crates of goods. It gets quite dusty around here, especially in the summer months, but we keep the operations going as best as we can. Dealing with logistics in this part of Mira Road can be a headache sometimes because of the narrow roads, but we manage. Most of our time is spent checking the inventory and making sure the machines are running right. We aren't a high-street showroom with bright lights and fancy carpets. It’s more about greasy floors and hard work in the back. There’s a lot of coordination involved between the different units we have on-site. We’ve been here for a while now, and the routine hasn’t changed much over the years. We just focus on getting the orders ready and loaded onto the transport trucks before the day ends.
