Our place, Sanwa Diamond Tools, is out on Plot No. 144 on the Bommasandra Jigani Link Road. Being in the Bommasandra Industrial Area means we are further out from the main city, which actually makes things a bit easier for the trucks coming in. We specialize in diamond tools, so it’s very precise work we do here. The shop floor is set up with specialized equipment that needs a lot of care. It’s not a massive factory, but we use every bit of the space we have. The Jigani Link Road is always busy with industrial traffic, but inside our gates, we try to keep things focused. We have a small group of workers who have been doing this for years. They have a real feel for the materials. We don't have a big fancy office; it’s mostly just a corner with a couple of desks and a lot of filing cabinets. We take pride in just doing the job without a lot of fuss. The air is often filled with the sound of grinding and cutting. Sometimes we have to work through the weekends if there’s a big order to get out. It’s a practical environment. We don't have any marketing slogans hanging on the walls. It’s just about getting the tools made and making sure they are ready for the customers who depend on them. The commute out here can be long, but we’ve got a good routine going. We just keep our heads down and get the tools out the door.
