Sanmathi Power Systems

We run Sanmathi Power Systems out of a workspace at 47/1C in Sunkadakatte. Specifically, we are on the 4th Cross of Rajiv Gandhi Nagar Main Road. It’s a busy part of the neighborhood with a lot of small shops and houses all mixed together. We deal with power equipment and electrical setups, so there are usually wires and batteries sitting around the floor. It’s not the kind of place you’d come to see a fancy display. It’s more of a workshop where we test things and fix parts. Sometimes the smell of solder is pretty strong in the morning. We have a few guys who go out on calls to fix generators or install panels, while one of us usually stays back to mind the shop. The street outside can be a bit dusty, especially when the wind picks up, so we are always cleaning the counters. We don't have a big corporate office; we just have a desk in the corner with a ledger and a phone. Most of our customers are folks from around Sunkadakatte who need help with their backup power when the grid goes down. We just try to be helpful and get the equipment running again as fast as we can. It’s hard work and the hours can be long, but we’ve been doing it this way for years now and it seems to work out okay.
