Sanjivini Academy

We have been running Sanjivini Academy for a while now at 201, 7th Main A Block in Vijayanagar. It is a pretty convenient spot in Mysore, especially being so close to the Chowdeshwari Temple. The building is just a regular place where we gather to help students. Most afternoons, you will find the place filling up with kids from the local area. We don't have any flashy signs or anything like that. Inside, it is just basic desks and chairs, and a few boards for writing. The street outside can get quite busy with people heading to the temple, but once you are inside, it is all about the books. We spend our hours going through school lessons and helping with homework. There is no corporate management here, just a few of us who know the subjects well enough to teach. We do not use any complicated technology. It is mostly just reading and explaining until the kids get it. Sometimes the fans are a bit loud, and the rooms get a little warm in the summer, but we make do. We like being part of this neighborhood. Parents often stop by for a quick chat when they are passing by the temple. It is a very simple, everyday kind of operation. We just show up, open the doors, and do our best to help the students who come in. There is not much more to it than that.
