If you take the bus to the last stop in Mahalakshmi Layout, you’ll find us right there at No. 761 on 7th Main. Being near the swimming pool makes it easy to give directions to people who aren't from this part of town. Sanjeevini Hospital has been sitting here by the bus stand for quite some time. It's a convenient spot because the buses stop almost right in front of the gate. Inside, it's usually a hum of activity. We have the usual setup you'd expect in a local hospital. There are benches for waiting and a desk where you sign in. Our doctors spend a lot of time in the consultation rooms. Sometimes the wait is longer than we'd like, but that’s just the way it is when a lot of people show up at once. The neighborhood knows us well. We see the same families coming in year after year. The swimming pool nearby is a good landmark, though it can get a bit loud during the summer months when the kids are out. We focus on getting the job done. The hallways are narrow but we keep them clear. We have enough beds for the people who need to stay over. The shift changes happen twice a day, and that's when you'll see the most staff moving around. It’s a practical place. Nothing too flashy, just white walls and the smell of antiseptic. We just try to help everyone who gets off that last bus.
