Sanjana Driving School

We’ve been running Sanjana Driving School out of Sri Krupa Layout for some time now. Being near the Vidya Vihar International school means there’s always a lot of activity on the roads around here. Abbigere is a growing part of Bangalore, so more people are moving in and they all need to learn how to drive. The traffic on Chikbanavara Main Road is no joke, and it’s where we do a lot of our practical training. It’s better to learn in the real mess of the city so you don’t get a shock later. We have a few different cars and we try to keep them running well, though the Bangalore potholes make that a bit of a challenge sometimes. I spend my days shifting between the office and the passenger seat. The office is just a basic room with some charts on the wall and a lot of paperwork on the desk. We aren't doing anything flashy here, just helping folks get their licenses and feel okay behind the wheel. Some days are long, especially when the rain starts and the roads turn into rivers, but we don't usually cancel the lessons. People need to know how to drive in the rain too. If you are in the 560090 area, you've probably seen our cars with the 'L' signs driving slowly past the houses. We’re just local people trying to help other locals get mobile. Sometimes we have to wait a while at the RTO, but we get the license work done eventually.
