Sandstorm Equipment Co

We've been here at the SBI building for a while now. It's the first floor, right above the street level in the Bhimjipura area. Sandstorm Equipment is just what we do. It’s mostly about getting the right tools to people who need them for their projects. Sometimes it’s busy, sometimes it’s quiet. We deal with various machines and parts. The stairs up to our office are a bit narrow, so you have to watch your step when you come by. Being in Ulsoor Gujjar Kshatriya means we see a lot of the same faces every day. We know the neighbors well. If you are looking for specific gear, we usually have it sitting in the back or can figure out where it is. It isn’t fancy here. There are piles of catalogs and maybe some dust on the shelves from the street outside. We just handle the orders and make sure things get loaded up correctly. My cousin helps out on the weekends when the shipments come in. We don't spend much time on the computer unless we have to check a part number. Mostly we just talk to folks and see what they are trying to fix or build. That’s how we spend our days at the shop. We keep the kettle going for tea in the afternoons. It’s a simple setup but it works for us and the people who come in. It’s been this way for a long time and we don't plan on changing much.
