Samarth Clinic

Samarth Clinic is located at number 90 on 23rd Cross in Jayanagar 3rd Block. A lot of people know us because we are near the swimming pool—though sometimes the address gets written down as "swimming fool," which always gives us a little laugh when we see it on an old piece of mail. The 3rd Block is a bit more relaxed than some other parts of Jayanagar, but it still has its busy moments during the day. Our clinic is a simple setup on a corner that sees a lot of local foot traffic. We open up early, usually when the morning air is still a bit cool. The first thing we do is get the water ready and tidy up the front desk area. It’s a small space, so it doesn't take long to get things in order for the first visitors. We’ve got some old chairs for people to sit on while they wait, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it works for now. We see a lot of the same people from the neighborhood coming in. It’s a regular part of the local life here. We don't have any fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just show up, talk to the people who come in, and try to be helpful in a practical way. The sound of people splashing at the pool nearby is a constant backdrop during the summer. It’s just a normal, everyday clinic in a normal part of town.
