Samaprayaas Foundation

You can find the Samaprayaas Foundation at No.442 in the Mahaveer Rich Apartment. This is situated in the AGB Layout near Chikkasandra Post in Bangalore. It’s a bit of a trek if you're coming from the other side of the city, but we like it here. The apartment complex is quite large, so people sometimes get lost looking for our number. We spend our days mostly indoors, sitting at our desks and getting through the mail. Bangalore-560090 has its own rhythm, and we’ve settled into it. Our office doesn't have any big decorations. We have a few desks, some functional chairs, and a clock that’s usually a few minutes slow. We don't talk much about visions or goals. We just look at what needs to be finished by Friday and do it. It’s practical work. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up, and we have to take the stairs, which is good exercise I suppose. The staff here is small, just a few local people from around Karnataka who needed a job and stuck around. We share our lunches and talk about the local news. It’s an honest way to spend the day, and we don't feel the need to make it sound like more than it is. The place gets good light in the morning, which helps us stay awake while we sort through the files. We just take things one day at a time.
