Sakthi Perfumery Works

Our place, Sakthi Perfumery Works, is over on Magadi Road at number 23 on the 4th Cross. It’s a narrow street and can be a bit tight for vehicles, but we’ve made it work for many years. You can usually smell whatever we’re making that day before you even see our front door. We make perfumes and incense sticks, so there’s always a heavy mix of different floral and woody scents floating around the whole building. It’s a small, family-style setup, not one of those big industrial factories you see in the papers. We have different rooms filled with ingredients, powders, and oils that we use for the blends. It can be a bit of a maze sometimes with all the cardboard boxes waiting to be taped up and sent out to the shops. We don't have a fancy reception area or a waiting room. If you come by to see us, you’ll probably just see someone busy mixing scents or packing bundles of sticks into boxes. Magadi Road is always crowded with people and traffic, so getting our supplies in and out can be a bit of a headache, but we’re used to the chaos by now. We use simple methods that have worked for us for a long time. It’s not high-tech at all, just honest work done with our hands. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in the city. We just want to keep making things that people like to use in their homes for prayer or just to smell nice.
