Sakku Foundation

Sakku Foundation is based over in Uttarahalli, Bangalore. Our office is at number 226 in the D S Max Swasthik Apartments on Guru Paduka Mandir Road. It’s a bit away from the main city center, which we actually quite like. Turahalli is a bit more peaceful, and it gives us the space to think and work without too many distractions. We aren't a huge group. It’s just a handful of us who wanted to start something to help out with local issues. Our space in the apartments is pretty basic. We’ve got some tables, some old chairs, and a lot of notebooks. We don't go in for high-end office furniture or expensive decor. We’d rather use what we have for the actual projects. Dealing with the Bengaluru traffic to get here can be a chore, but once we’re in the office, things are usually pretty steady. We don't have any grand mission statements or polished presentations. We just take things day by day. If a problem comes up, we try to fix it. We talk to people in the area and see what’s actually happening on the ground. It’s not always easy, but it feels right. We aren't trying to change the world overnight. We’re just trying to be a steady presence here in Uttarahalli and do what we can. We just show up and put in the hours every single week.
