Pure Water House

Our shop, Pure Water House, is at No. 30 on 6th Cross, Hutchins Road. That is in Saint Thomas Town. It is a bit of a residential area, so we know a lot of the neighbors. We deal with water systems and filters. The front of the shop is usually filled with tanks and boxes of spare parts. It is a bit cluttered, to be honest. We have been here for quite a few years. My brother and I run the place most days. We have a small van that we use for deliveries, but it has been acting up lately. The floor is almost always a little damp because we are testing things. We do not have a big staff, just us and a helper who comes in three times a week. People stop by to ask about their home filters or to buy new cartridges. We keep a ledger on the main counter to track everything. It is old-fashioned, but it works for us. The tea stall down the street is where we get our morning snacks. Sometimes the street gets blocked by trucks, which makes it hard for customers to park. We just tell them to wait a few minutes. It is a steady kind of life. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to make sure the equipment we sell actually works like it is supposed to. It is a simple business on a quiet street.
