Saif Tools Syndicate

You can find us over at No.176/1 in Kumbarpet, right near SP Road. If you’ve ever been to this part of town, you know it’s always crowded with people looking for hardware and tools. Saif Tools Syndicate is just one of many shops here, but we’ve been at this spot for a long time. The address says PB No. 6660 but most people just look for our sign near the corner. The shop is filled from floor to ceiling with all sorts of tools. It’s a bit of a maze inside because we try to fit as much stock as possible into the space we have. It can get pretty loud outside with the carts and the bikes constantly moving through the narrow streets. We spend most of our day answering questions or climbing ladders to reach something on the top shelf. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting heavy boxes and checking inventory lists. We don’t have a fancy showroom or anything. It’s just a practical place where we keep the items people need for their jobs. The lunch hour is usually the only quiet time we get, but even then, someone usually knocks on the door. It’s a busy area to work in, but we like being in the middle of all the action in Kumbarpet. We just keep our heads down and handle the daily tasks one at a time, hoping the rain doesn't leak through the front shutter too much during the monsoon season.
