If you find yourself in G.I.D.C. Vatva, you'll see we are on Phase-I, tucked away on the street right opposite Prashant Engineering. The address 71/18 is our second home. Vatva is always humming with the sound of machines and Sahas Scientific is right in the middle of it all. We deal with scientific instruments and laboratory needs, which is relatively quiet work compared to some of the heavy forging shops nearby. The sun gets really hot on this street in the afternoon, so we usually have the ceiling fans going full blast. Most of us have been working together for a long time. We know the layout of the place like the back of our hands. It's not a shiny corporate office with a lobby. There are boxes stacked in the corners and the smell of industrial grease comes in from the street. We just get on with it. Every morning starts with opening the heavy shutters and checking the list for the day. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to provide equipment that works like it is supposed to. People stop by for parts or just to talk about the latest news in the estate. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we sit outside on the steps until it comes back. That's just how things go around here. We’ve stayed in this spot because it's convenient for the staff and the transport trucks.
