Sagar Hospital

This Sagar Hospital is located inside the Dayananda Sagar Institution Campus. It’s up on Shavige Malleshwara Hills in Kumaraswamy Layout. Being on a campus means there are always students and staff around. It’s a large area. The hospital itself has been here to serve the campus and the people living in Kumaraswamy Layout for a long time. It’s not like those shiny new hospitals you see in the city center. It feels more grounded. We have several floors and different departments. Getting up the hill can be a bit of a climb if you are walking, but the view is alright. We deal with the usual daily stuff. People coming in for checkups or when they aren't feeling great. The hallways can be a bit long and sometimes the lighting is a bit dim in certain corners, but we keep it clean. Working in a place like this, you get used to the rhythm of the college nearby. When the bells ring or classes let out, the whole atmosphere changes. We have our own routine here. The staff knows most of the regular patients by name. We don't have fancy marketing brochures. We just show up and do the work. It’s a busy place but we try to keep things calm for the patients. Kumaraswamy Layout is a good neighborhood to be in. We’re glad to be part of the community here on the hills. It is quiet at night.
