Our location is at 39 Surveyor Street, right by the Lalbagh West Gate in Basavangudi. It’s a nice part of the city with plenty of trees and old buildings. Being in this spot for a good number of years has made us feel at home. The office is in a building that has seen a lot of history. Desks and shelves for all our stock fill the inside. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes when we get a large shipment. A fancy lobby isn't something we have. When you walk in, you’re pretty much right in the middle of where everything happens. Mornings are for answering emails and getting orders ready. In the afternoon, we might be out or finishing up paperwork. There’s always something going on outside our window because the neighborhood is fairly busy. We know the guy at the corner shop and the people in the offices next door. Working in a friendly environment like this is a plus. Things are kept very basic here. A kettle for tea and a small table for breaks are all we need. Making things look corporate doesn't interest us. Just getting the orders out and staying on top of our list is enough for us. The building stays mostly cool, which is good for the summer months. We don't have a lot of noise inside, so it's easy to concentrate on what we are doing. It’s an honest day's work and we like the routine we've built.
