The morning sun hits the windows of our first-floor spot in HSR Layout quite early. We usually unlock the door around nine, right after fighting through the morning traffic on 17th Main. Being located in the same building as Lenskart makes us pretty easy to find for most folks, though sometimes people walk right past the entrance while looking for the ICICI bank across the street. Inside the clinic, things are kept pretty simple. We don't have any of those fancy leather couches you see in big offices, just some sturdy chairs for people to sit in while they wait their turn. You can always hear the sounds of the neighborhood coming through—the constant honking and the occasional construction noise from Sector 7—but we’ve all gotten used to it by now. We spend most of our hours looking at teeth, which is what we are here for. Some days are just one cleaning after another, and then there are days where we are busy with more complicated things like crowns or fixing a tooth someone chipped over the weekend. We try to keep the place organized, but the front desk usually has a few piles of files waiting to be sorted. It’s a practical setup for a practical job. We don’t do big speeches or use a lot of complicated medical words. If there’s a problem with a molar, we just point it out and talk about what needs doing. It is just a normal day for us.
