S V Batterys is located right on Kanakapura Main Road. Our address is number 1, so we are pretty easy to find if you are driving down that way. Kanakapura Road is one of the busiest stretches in this part of town, with constant traffic and noise. We deal with all kinds of batteries, mostly for cars, motorcycles, and home backups. The shop is filled with heavy black boxes and the smell of lead and chemicals. It’s a very manual job, lifting these heavy batteries and testing them with our meters. We have a small bench where we do the charging and testing. It gets quite hot in the shop during the afternoons, especially with the sun hitting the front of the building. We don't have any corporate slogans or a marketing team. We just open up early and stay late because that’s when people usually have battery trouble. Most of our customers are locals or people passing through who realized their car wouldn't start. We’ve got a lot of experience with different brands and types of batteries. The building at number 1 isn't anything modern, but it’s sturdy and serves our purpose well. We spend our days talking to drivers and mechanics. It’s a simple, honest business that keeps the neighborhood moving. We don't try to be anything we aren't; we just sell and fix batteries and try to keep things simple for everyone who stops by our little shop.
