S T Roadways is located at No.13 on Hosur Road. We are very close to the IOC Petrol Bunk, which is a good landmark for the truck drivers. This part of Hosur Road is always moving. We deal with heavy transport and roadway logistics. You will usually see a few big trucks parked nearby or waiting for instructions. The office is small and smells a bit like diesel and old paper. It’s a rugged kind of business. We don't wear suits or sit in air-conditioned rooms all day. We are usually out talking to the drivers or checking the loads. It gets very dusty with all the traffic passing by. We have been working from this spot for quite a while. We know the routes and we know the problems that come up on the highway. There is always someone coming or going. We handle a lot of different types of goods, mostly the heavy stuff that needs big engines to move. It’s a straightforward job. You get a load, you find a driver, and you make sure it reaches the destination. We don’t overcomplicate things here. Most of our day is spent on the phone or looking at logbooks. It’s a noisy, busy place but we like it that way. Being near the petrol bunk makes it easy for the fleet to fuel up before a long trip.
