You can find S S Power Tools at 27 Bommanahalli, on the 3rd Main Road near Shivaganga Mutt Road. It’s a busy corner of the world. We spend our days surrounded by drills, grinders, and all sorts of equipment. It’s a loud place because we’re often testing things out or repairing a tool that’s seen better days. We don't have any interest in being a big corporate chain. We’re just a local shop where people bring their tools when they stop working. The air usually smells like oil and burnt carbon brushes, which is just part of the job. We aren't experts in everything, but we know power tools pretty well. We’ve seen just about every kind of break you can imagine. The shop isn't big, and it gets pretty crowded when we have a lot of repairs stacked up. We try to keep things moving so people can get back to their own jobs. Most of our customers are builders or guys doing work on their own houses. We talk to them about what went wrong and what needs fixing. It’s basic, honest work. We don’t have a website that’s fancy or any big advertisements. People usually find us because they’re in the neighborhood or someone told them we were here. We just show up every morning, open the shutters, and start working on whatever is on the bench. It’s a good way to live.
