If you are looking for S R A Appliances, we are right on Bvk Iyengar Road at number 10. We are very close to Abhinaya Theatre, which is a landmark everyone knows. This street is incredibly busy every single day with carts, shoppers, and vehicles squeezed together. Our shop is filled from floor to ceiling with all kinds of home appliances. We have stoves, mixers, heaters, and smaller things scattered around. It’s a bit of a squeeze to walk through the aisles, but that’s because we like to keep a lot of stock on hand. We spend a lot of time unboxing new arrivals and testing things to make sure they work before they leave the shop. The noise from the theatre crowds and the traffic is constant, but you get used to it after a week of working here. We aren't a big showroom with bright lights and fancy displays. We are more of a traditional store where you can see the items up close. Our counters are made of old wood and we use a simple calculator for everything. Sometimes we have to move heavy fridges out to the curb for pickup, which is a workout. We know most of the other shopkeepers on this block. It’s a tough, fast-paced environment, but we enjoy the interaction with all the different people who walk through our door every day.
