S L V Industries

S L V Industries is situated at 5 Hennur Main Road, over in Kasaba Hobli, within the Chikkanna Layout. Hennur Bande has changed so much since we first set up here. It used to be much quieter, but now the main road is constantly humming with cars and buses. Our place is a bit of an old-school industrial unit. We have a corrugated metal roof that makes a lot of noise when it rains, which happens quite a bit in Bangalore. We do mostly small-scale manufacturing and assembly here. It is not a clean, air-conditioned environment. We have heavy benches, old stools, and plenty of scrap metal in the corners. We start early in the morning before the sun gets too hot, though the breeze from the main road helps a little. We are a small team, and we have worked together for years, so we don't need to talk much to get things done. We know our machines and their quirks. We don't have a corporate office or a human resources department. If there is a problem, we just talk it out over a cup of tea. It is a very straightforward way of working. We just want to make sure the stuff we produce is sturdy and does what it is supposed to do for the people who buy it. We just handle the daily grind of manufacturing without any fuss.
