S L N Tempos

At S L N Tempos, we are based out in Makalli Village. That is in Dasanapura Hobli, right along the Tumkur Road stretch. It is a bit far from the main city center, but for what we do with transport, it is the perfect location. We have been here for several years now. The area is quite industrial and dusty because of all the heavy trucks moving towards the highway. Our setup is very basic. We have a small space to park our tempos and a little room where we keep the logs and keys. My day usually begins before dawn. I have to make sure the drivers are ready and the vehicles are in good shape. It is hard work and my hands are often greasy from checking the engines. We handle all kinds of loads, from household items to factory goods. We don't have a big corporate structure or fancy uniforms. We are just a small group of people trying to make sure things get delivered on time. The road is our life, really. Sometimes the traffic on Tumkur Road is a nightmare, but we know the shortcuts. It is a straightforward business with no hidden stuff. We just take an order, load the tempo, and go. It’s tiring but it keeps us going. Most people in the village know us as the tempo folks near the highway.
