S K Transormers & Company is situated out at 138/3 Tavarekere in the Chikkamma Industrial Estate. We are right by the Kadabagere Cross. This part of the city is quite industrial, so there’s always something being built or repaired nearby. We work with transformers and related electrical equipment. It’s heavy, technical work that requires a lot of patience. Our workshop is filled with coils, oil, and heavy metal casings. We aren't a big factory with thousands of workers. It’s just a dedicated group of us who know how these machines work and how to fix them when they break down. The road out to Kadabagere can be a bit rough, especially for the trucks carrying the heavy gear. We spend our days testing equipment and making sure everything is put together correctly. It’s not the kind of job where you stay clean. We usually have grease on our hands and dust on our boots. We’ve been operating in the Chikkamma Industrial Estate for quite some time now and know the local power issues well. We don't do much in the way of advertising. Most people find us because they heard from someone else that we do a decent job. We just take things one transformer at a time and try to get the work done without any unnecessary delays. It's a quiet life of hard work.
