Our place is over at 13/5 Singasandra Shanti Road, inside the S L Industrial Complex in Shantinagar. It is a big area with lots of trucks moving in and out all the time. S K F Sealing Solution (India) Pvt Ltd is just one of the many units here, but we have made this space our own over the years. The air is usually thick with the smell of industrial work and the sound of heavy machinery from the neighbors. We have a routine that we follow pretty strictly. Morning starts with checking the inventory and making sure the machines are ready to go. We do not have a big reception area with fancy chairs. People usually just walk right into the workspace. It can get pretty hot in the afternoons, so we keep the big doors open to catch whatever breeze comes through. We have got a lot of shelves stacked high with different components. Sometimes it takes a minute to find exactly what we are looking for, but we usually get there. The team is small and we have all been doing this for a long time. We do not talk much during the heavy shifts, we just get on with it. It is decent work and it keeps us occupied. When the whistle blows at the end of the day, we are usually pretty tired, but it is a good kind of tired. That is just how life goes in an industrial complex.
