S C S Battery Centre

The shop is located at Nagarbhavi 1st Block 2nd Stage Nagarabavi Ring Road 2. S C S Battery Centre is easy to spot because of all the black battery casings stacked outside. It’s a bit of a messy job, working with lead and acid and heavy cables. My clothes usually have a few holes in them from the battery acid, but that’s just how it is. We handle car batteries, bike batteries, and those big ones for home power backups. People usually come to us when they’re in a hurry because their car won't start. We try to get them sorted out quickly. It’s a lot of heavy lifting. My back feels it at the end of the day. The shop isn't very big, so we have to be smart about how we stack things. We have a small charging station in the back that hums all day long. It’s a constant sound that you eventually stop hearing. We’ve been in Nagarbhavi for a good while now. The road out front has gotten a lot busier over the years. We see thousands of cars go by every day. We don't have a fancy waiting room, just a wooden bench if someone needs to sit. We just focus on the batteries. If someone needs a jump start, we take the portable pack and go help them out. It’s simple work, but it’s necessary for people around here. We just keep at it.
