S A Hardware & Paints is over at 35 Boopasandra, specifically on the 16th Cross and 2nd Main Road. It is a bit tucked away in the neighborhood, which makes it a nice, familiar spot for the locals. The shop is where we spend all our time, surrounded by rows of paint and various hardware supplies. We have everything from hammers and screwdrivers to different types of wall finishes. It is a local business, so we end up chatting with a lot of the neighbors who stop by for a chat or a quick purchase. We are not a big chain store with hundreds of locations. This is just our one spot in Boopasandra where we try to keep things running smoothly. Some days are hectic when several people come in at once, all looking for different things. Other days are quiet, giving us a chance to organize the bins of small parts. We do not have any fancy goals or polished speeches. We just want to have the items people are looking for when they have a leak to fix or a room to paint. The shop is practical and a little bit worn in, which is how we like it. We open up the doors every morning, ready to see who needs help that day. It is a simple life and a simple business, and we are quite happy with how things are going here.
