If you head over to Subramani Layout in Vijanapura, you’ll find us at No. 2259. That’s where Rs Exports operates from. It’s a decent area, mostly residential around the edges but we’ve got our setup here for handling export orders. It's a lot of manual work, honestly. We spend half the morning just checking the stock and the other half trying to get the labels printed correctly. There’s always someone coming in or out with a delivery. We started small and stayed that way because it's easier to keep track of things ourselves. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a place where we keep the records and handle the calls. We get stuff from local makers and try to find buyers who need it overseas. It involves a lot of waiting on the phone for someone at the dock to pick up. Sometimes the internet is slow, which makes the filing take longer than it should. We don't spend money on fancy advertisements or big signs. Most of our neighbors know us as the place that’s always moving boxes around. It’s a simple business, really. You just have to be careful with the details so nothing gets stuck at the border. We stay busy enough and that’s plenty for us. Usually, we wrap things up once the last courier has come by for the day.
