Royal Jewel Box

We have been here at Sumir Bhavan in Shivaji Nagar for a long while now. It’s on the first floor, Shop 218, tucked away from the main noise of the street. Most people find Royal Jewel Box through word of mouth or just because they’ve been coming to this area for years to do their regular shopping. Usually, we are busy sorting through pieces or talking to someone who needs a ring resized or a clasp fixed. It’s a small space, but we keep it tidy enough for visitors. Sometimes the light in the hallway isn't great, but once you step inside, it's alright. We deal with various items, mostly what people look for when there's a wedding or a small gift needed. My uncle started this place, and I just took over when he retired. It isn't anything fancy like the big malls you see popping up everywhere. We sit here, drink our tea, and wait for the regulars to stop by for a chat. Sometimes the traffic outside is incredibly loud, but you get used to it after a week. We don't really do much advertising or post on the internet. If you need something fixed or you're just looking for a simple gold chain, we are here most days. The stairs up to the first floor can be a bit steep if you aren't careful. We keep the glass cases clean every single morning before we start. It's just a regular job for us and we like the people.
