Research Development & Mfg Corp

Down in Mathikere, specifically in the Ms Ramaiah Industrial Estate near Gokula Extension, you will find our building. We call it Research Development & Mfg Corp. It sounds like a big name, but we are a practical group of people. We spend our days working on different parts and testing things out to see if they actually work for the people who buy them. The workshop has a lot of tools and some old wooden benches where we sit and figure things out. It can get a bit cramped when we have a few projects going at once. Gokula is a busy spot, so there is always noise from the street coming in through the open windows. We don't have a big reception area or anyone in a suit waiting to greet you. Usually, you just walk in and someone will be covered in grease or busy with a loud machine. We make things. That is the main point. Sometimes we have to redo a design three times before it is right. Nobody here complains about that because we know it’s just the way manufacturing happens. We have been here for a good bit of time now. The neighbors know us and we know them. We keep our head down and do the work. The floor is concrete and the lights are those long tubes that flicker sometimes. It's just a normal place where we try to solve problems with metal and tools. It works for us and we keep going.
