Replica Architectural Models

We spend most of our time at 77/1 in New Thippasandra, right near the Sakinaka area. Our shop, Replica Architectural Models, is usually covered in tiny bits of plastic, wood, and foam. It’s messy work but that is just part of it. We make physical versions of buildings that haven't been built yet. It involves a lot of cutting, gluing, and staring at blueprints until our eyes hurt. Most of the time, the floor is covered in dust. We’ve been in this spot for a bit now and it suits us fine. There isn't much space for anything other than the workbenches and the tools. When someone comes in, they usually have to step over a box or two. We don't really do the whole professional office thing because it wouldn't stay clean for more than five minutes anyway. We just focus on getting the scale right and making sure the windows are in the right spots on the miniature houses. It is slow work and your fingers usually end up with some glue on them by the end of the shift. We are just a few people who like building things with our hands. It’s quiet in the mornings before the traffic picks up outside in New Thippasandra. We stay busy with whatever project is on the bench that week. Sometimes the models are huge and take up the whole room, other times they are just small enough to carry in one hand.
