Rashtrotthana Pu College

We are situated at No. 115 on Thanisandra Main Road, over in the Arkavathy Layout area of Bangalore. This part of the city has seen a lot of construction lately, so there’s always some new building going up nearby. It’s a busy spot in Nagasandra. We see a lot of students coming from all over this side of Bangalore, some taking the bus and others getting dropped off. The college is a pretty straightforward place. We don’t have any of those high-tech gadgets everywhere, just good old-fashioned classrooms and a place for the students to study. The staff here is pretty down-to-earth. We spend a lot of time just making sure the schedules are right and that the kids are actually in their seats. It gets a bit loud when the college lets out, but that's Bangalore for you. We don't put out fancy newsletters with big promises. Most of our students come here because their older siblings did or they live just down the road. It’s a community thing. We deal with the usual stuff like leaky roofs in the monsoon and the dust from the road. It’s not a perfect environment, but it’s where we work every day. We just try to keep things organized and make sure the students have what they need for their exams. There is always a desk that needs a bit of glue or a cupboard that won't stay shut, but we manage it all.
