Rao Clearing Agency

Rao Clearing Agency is over at No.93/87 on Airport Road. We are tucked into the Mes Colony area near Konena Agrahara. Being near the airport makes sense for what we do. We spend a lot of our time dealing with customs and clearing goods that come through. It involves a lot of reading forms and making sure all the stamps are in the right places. The office isn't very large, but we have piles of files everywhere. It’s mostly just the sound of staplers and people talking on the phone to the cargo terminals. It’s a bit of a walk from the main gate but not too bad. We’ve seen the airport road change a lot over the years with all the new buildings going up. The traffic is the worst part of the day, honestly. We usually start quite early before the sun gets too hot. Most of our clients are businesses that need their stuff moved without a headache. We don’t have a big marketing department or anything. People just find us through word of mouth or because they saw our sign near the colony. It is a lot of routine work, but it keeps us busy. We make sure the paperwork is sorted so things don’t get stuck. That is really the main thing we do here. Just keeping things moving through the system day by day.
