About Raksha Driving School – Education in Bengaluru
We've been at the Jp Nagar North Bombay Housing Society for a while now. Getting a license is stressful, so we try to keep things calm in the car. It’s just me and a couple of others teaching people how to drive without panicking. The traffic around Juhu No 1 is pretty heavy, which is actually good practice for new learners. We don't have a fancy office or anything. It's just a small spot where you can come sign up and get your paperwork sorted. My uncle started this and now I'm mostly running the day-to-day things. We use the old Maruti because it's easier to learn the clutch on that one. Sometimes the scheduling gets a bit messy if someone cancels late, but we usually figure it out. We aren't trying to be the biggest school in Mumbai. We just want to make sure people know which pedal is which before they hit the main roads. If you live around the society, you've probably seen our car circling the blocks in the morning. It’s hard work sitting in the passenger seat all day but it's okay. Most students are nervous at first but they get the hang of it after a few rounds. We take it slow and don't shout. It's just how we do things here. Come by the office near the gate if you want to start next week.
