We are up on the first floor of Mahendra Plaza. It’s a bit of a climb if you’re carrying heavy parts, but we’ve been here on J C Road for quite a while. Being on MTB Road means we get a lot of foot traffic from the main area. The shop is filled with various engine parts and components. It’s not the biggest place, so things are stacked pretty high. I often have to use a ladder to get stuff from the top shelves. My hands are usually a bit greasy by the end of the day from handling the stock. We don’t do much advertising; people just know we are here in the plaza. Sometimes the light in the hallway is flickery, but inside we keep things organized the best we can. It’s a noisy area with all the horns and people shouting outside, but once you’re inside the shop, it’s just us and the inventory. We have a small desk where we do all the billing by hand. It takes a bit of time, but our customers are used to it. Most of them are local mechanics who have been coming to us since we opened. We know their names and what they usually need for their repairs. It’s a steady routine of opening up, checking the stock, and helping whoever walks through the door.
