Rainbow Glow Signs

Our workshop for Rainbow Glow Signs is at 24 Pillana Garden, right near the Dholewal Chowk. It is a place where there is always something being cut or soldered. We make all kinds of signs and the floor is usually covered in bits of plastic and metal shavings. Dholewal Chowk is a very busy intersection, so we have a lot of noise from the vehicles all day long. The shop has big tables for laying out the letters and the lights. We spend a lot of time working with our hands, fixing the wiring and making sure the colors look right when the power is turned on. It is not a clean office job. We have paint stains on our clothes and the smell of glue is pretty strong some days. People stop by to show us sketches of what they want. Sometimes we have to climb up on ladders to see how a sign will fit. We have been in Pillana Garden for a good while. The neighbors are mostly other small shops and workshops like ours. We keep a radio playing in the background to drown out some of the traffic noise. When a sign is finished and we test it, the whole front of the shop lights up. It is satisfying to see it working after all the hours of assembly. We just keep our heads down and get the orders done one by one as they come in. It is just us working here.
