Ragdes Commercial Designs

Our office is at 32264 in Jayanagar 1st Block. We’re on the first floor of a building on 10th C Main, right at the 4th Cross. Jayanagar is a bit of a maze if you don’t live here, but we like this corner of the West side. Ragdes Commercial Designs is really just a few of us working on drawings and plans. It’s not a huge studio with fancy lights. We have some big tables for the prints and a few computers that have seen better days. The walls are covered in sketches and notes taped up wherever there was space. We spend a lot of time arguing about where a wall should go or why a measurement seems off. It’s a lot of back-and-forth. The first-floor windows look out onto the trees, which is nice when you’ve been staring at a screen for five hours. We don’t have a receptionist, so if the bell rings, whoever is closest to the door gets up to open it. We usually have lunch together or just grab something from the nearby darshini. It’s a quiet way to work, mostly. We aren't trying to win awards or be famous; we just want to make sure the designs we do actually work for the people who use them. It’s practical work, and we try not to overcomplicate it with big words or corporate talk. It's just a job we like to do.
