R V Teachers College

Our college, R V Teachers College, is situated in Jayanagar 2nd Block. We are very close to the Lalbagh West Gate, which is a nice landmark to have nearby. It’s a peaceful enough area, considering how busy Bangalore can get. We’ve been focused on training teachers here for many years. The building has a lot of history and you can feel it when you walk through the doors. It’s not a brand-new facility, but it has everything we need for the classes. We have rooms for lectures and spaces for students to practice their teaching. It’s a lot of work to become a teacher, and we see that effort every day. The staff here is small and we’ve mostly known each other for a long time. We don't use a lot of corporate talk or big promises. We just follow the curriculum and help the students as best as we can. During the monsoon, the trees around the West Gate look great, though the commute gets a bit messy. The library is one of the quietest spots in the building, and it’s usually full of people reading. We have a simple routine that we follow every semester. It’s about the students and their growth, nothing more than that. We don't have a fancy website or a huge social media presence. Most people around Jayanagar know us just by being here for so long. It’s a steady, honest place to work.
