R R Space Designers

We are located at number 18 Brigade Road, which is always full of energy and noise. R R Space Designers is our small outfit where we spend our time thinking about interiors and how to fix up rooms. Being on Brigade Road means there is never a dull moment outside the window. We see the crowds and the lights every single day. Our office is a bit of a sanctuary from all that noise though. It’s filled with fabric samples, paint swatches, and half-finished sketches. We aren't a big firm with hundreds of employees. It’s just a few of us who really like the process of designing things. Sometimes we argue over which shade of blue looks better in the afternoon light. It’s a messy, creative process that we’ve grown to love over time. We’ve been here at this address for a while and the landlord is decent enough. The elevator is a bit slow and makes a strange noise, so we usually just take the stairs. It keeps us moving and active. We don't have a polished sales pitch for anyone. When people come in, we just show them what we are working on at the moment. It’s a very hands-on way of doing things. We try to keep our overhead low so we can just focus on the design work. It’s a good life, even when the deadlines get a bit tight toward the end of the month and we have to stay late. It's just part of the job.
