R P Z Car Mirrors is down on Jaya Chamarajendra Road, right near the Saki Vihar Road 2 section. If you have ever driven through JC Road, you already know it is one of the busiest places for anything related to cars and bikes. Our shop is filled with glass of all shapes and sizes, and everywhere you look, you can see a reflection of yourself or the street outside. We spend the day helping people find the right side-view mirror or a rear-view glass for their vehicles. It is honestly surprising how many different types of mirrors exist for just one car model. Sometimes a customer comes in with a broken plastic housing and we have to see if we can just replace the glass part or if the whole unit needs to be swapped out. The street outside is always noisy with honking and people shouting, so we usually have to speak up to be heard over the din. We keep the mirrors stacked in boxes and on wooden racks, trying our best to make sure nothing gets chipped or cracked. It is a bit of a tight squeeze inside the shop because we try to keep a lot of stock on hand for different car brands. Most of the time, we are just cleaning smudges off the glass so things look clear. It is a simple business, really, sitting here among the reflections and helping drivers who had a bit of bad luck.
