R L Abhishek Rao College Of Nursing is tucked away at 818 4Th B Cross, in Kalyan Nagar. It’s in the HRBR Layout area. We train people to become nurses. It’s a lot of studying and practicing how to take care of patients. The students spend a lot of time in their uniforms, going back and forth between classes. We have some labs where they practice things like taking blood pressure or bandaging. It’s not a very large campus, just a building where the learning happens. We’ve been here for a while, and most people in the neighborhood know the students by sight. The atmosphere is usually quite serious because the subjects are tough. We don't have a lot of frills. It’s about getting through the books and the clinical work. Sometimes the schedule gets a bit chaotic with exams and practical tests at local hospitals. We just try to keep things moving. The teachers here are practical people who have worked in hospitals themselves. It’s a place for people who really want to work in healthcare. You’ll find us easily if you follow the 9th Main Cross. It’s a simple school doing a necessary job. We see a lot of hardworking young people come through here every single year. It gets loud in the halls sometimes, but it’s all part of the energy here. We just keep our heads down and teach.
