Priya Rubber Products

Priya Rubber Products is located right on Lalbagh Fort Road, at what used to be number 18/1 but is now number 19. The change in numbering sometimes confuses the mailman, but we've been in this spot long enough that most people know where we are. We work with rubber, making all sorts of parts and items that people need for various machines or household uses. It’s not glamorous work, and the smell of raw rubber is something you never quite get out of your clothes. The building itself is an older one, typical for this part of the city, and we’ve squeezed every bit of space out of it that we can. Boxes are stacked up in corners, and the machines take up most of the floor. We have a small crew, and everyone knows what they’re doing without being told. We aren't big on meetings or fancy presentations. Usually, someone just walks in with a sample of a rubber gasket or a seal they need, and we see if we can make it for them. It’s a straightforward business. Lalbagh Fort Road stays pretty busy with traffic, so it’s always lively outside our doors. We just keep our heads down and focus on the production, making sure things go out the door on time and work like they’re supposed to. We just do our best with what we have here every day.
